Remember this post I wrote a year ago? Yeah, I didn’t either! But my blogging buddy Jacquelyn at Just Jacq did – and remembered that we tagged each other to answer 6 Things You Should Know About Me. In the spirit of reminiscing and re-living cool things, we are bringing them back! We have picked 6 new questions for 6 Things You Should Know About Me – and we are tackling them about a year later! You can see her post here.

Oh, and you all should answer the questions too. Because you all are tagged. Yes, everyone, everywhere.

1. What is something new you have learned recently?

I am in the mission of “knowing myself”. I know this sounds like something I should already know by now. But apparently, I don’t know myself. More importantly, I am tracking my food, my activity, and my water intake to see how my body responds. It’s pretty cool. Things I am learning? I don’t do well when I eat dairy and carbs in the morning. I do best when I eat protein at every meal. I exercise best right after lunch (around 1). This latest thing is a relative new discovery. Anyway. I charge you all – know thyself!

2. What actor would play you in a movie about your life?

I wanted us to answer this question because it’s something I’ve struggled with for years.  I want to have the perfect celebrity lookalike, but I still can’t think of the best candidate!  Should I go with Jennifer Lawrence because I love her guts and she has a heart-shaped face?  (Yes, Jacq mentioned this same one.)  Should I go with Lauren Graham because I learned my sense of humor from her?  What about my idol Maria Menounos?  At this point, I would suggest that you all vote for my best celebrity alter ego.  But, I need to answer this for myself.  I vote for Michelle Dockery.  Everything about her.

3. What is your most embarrassing memory?

I really don’t have an answer for this question.  We wrote it – and then I didn’t know how to answer it.  I don’t really have an embarrassing story.  But, one time I did buy back something I had donated to Goodwill.  Yep.  I donated a size 0 sparkly tee-shirt that I got in London.  And it said “London” in glitter.  And then one day I was in Goodwill and saw it there on the rack.  And got nostalgic.  And bought it back.  Yep.  That was me.  I’ve never worn it – but I’ll never donated it again!

4. How do you like to show others love? Or, what is your love language?

This is such a good question.  I show people I love them by encouraging words – and just by talking in general :).  I am your number #1 cheerleader – and will let you know it!  This has been interesting because it’s my husband’s least prominent love language and so we are pretty much opposites.  I would recommend everyone read the book The Five Love Languages.  It’s amazing!

5. If you were given $100 to spend, where would you spend it?

Right now, if I received $100 dollars to spend.  I would buy 4 pairs of Old Navy’s Pixie Pants.  Maybe I just love Amy Poehler.  No, I’m not kidding.  I really want those pants.

6. What’s a dream you are working towards making come true?

My dreams?  I really think my new jobs are making my dreams come true.  I am doing something I love.  I am able to work from home.  I am learning new things every day.  And, I am becoming confident in one thing that I love.  Win.

And, I am currently watching Dancing with the Stars to make all my dancing dreams come true.

Here I am with Val, my favorite:
