I have been researching Night/Eye/Anti-Wrinkle Creams for awhile now.  I have had several requests, and have had several recommendations, but I didn’t want to buy twenty different kinds just to test them out.   (I guess if I am a true “research” blog, that’s what I will have to start doing…).

I was looking for a cream that was intended for night renewal (without spf) that didn’t cost an arm and a leg (under $10?).  Ideally, it would give me baby soft skin and make me flawless within days…riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

I read a review recently for Pond’s Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream and added it to the list of creams to research.  When I started reading reviews for this cream, I was curiously excited and skeptical.  People claimed it was better than La Mer (really?) and that it started working overnight.  I know that some of our grandmothers swear by Pond’s, so their reputation goes before them in this arena.  And, it was only $8.97, so I thought I would give it a try.

Amazingly, this cream has blown me away.  I actually noticed my skin feeling “newer” the next day (maybe it’s all mental), and since then my face is looking fresher and tighter.  Here are some things I am loving about it!

One, the cream is formulated with AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), which is an exfoliant (think an at-home chemical peal).  I love a good night exfoliant – and as I have discovered in the past – they really do give my face a glow in the morning.

Two, the cream uses collagen, which gives elasticity to skin.  This is something my scientist husband says is essential to a good cream…

Three, it is full of Vitamin E.  Love that stuff.

The cream does have a scent – like a light baby powder scent – which I don’t mind.  Some people say they use it under makeup, but I find it too heavy for that.  I have found that my forehead “wrinkles” (indents, ugh) are softer, and can’t wait to see what my dark spots do!

(You probably think that I am exaggerating.  But, I do have a few dark spots and wrinkles.  That’s what happens when you turn older, y’all :)).

Anyway, I personally think everyone should try it – and at $8.97 it’s a steal!
