The World's Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • ¾ c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 T. vanilla
  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3 c. flour
  • ¾ t. baking soda
  • ¾ t. salt
  • 3 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  In a large bowl, combine sugars and add in butter and cream together until soft.  Add vanilla and eggs; mix together.  In a sifter, add the dry ingredients and then sift into the creamed mixture.  Mix well - the dough will be stiff.  Stir in the chocolate chips.
  2. Line your cookie sheets with parchment paper (or the Silpat!).  Drop dough with a small scoop (or spoon) onto the sheets.  Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees.  Remove from oven and cool on wire racks.
