Is your hair weighed down by crud and never-ending buildup? Give this DIY Deep Cleaning Detox Shampoo a try! You will love it :). Shampoo, Hair Detox, Dirty Hair, Clean Hair Buildup

Is your hair weighed down by crud and never-ending buildup? I know my hair is – and this is what I do about it. This is a simple idea of cleaning your hair with baking soda and vinegar.  I know, I know.  You all are thinking of the crazy “no shampoo” lifestyle that has taken over the web.  Well, I am here to say that this is very different.  I have actually done the “no shampoo method”, and I know that this is much less drastic and crazy!

About once a month (or once a week if I am good) I rinse my hair with this simple rinse after I shampoo. It can also take the place of a shampoo.  I don’t do this frequently – and it’s just a little rinse!  The baking soda and vinegar combine to make a nice foamy rinsing agent that nicely purges and restores. Because it is one rinse, there is really no after-smell, and your hair will feel so light and clean! Give this DIY Deep Cleaning Detox Shampoo a try! You will love it :).

Hair Detox Ingredients:

1 cup water
2 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tablespoon of Baking Soda

Mix together (watch out for the mini-volcano!) and pour over your head in the shower. Rub into your scalp and let sit a second. Rinse WELL and shampoo like normal. Your head will never be more happy!
