My favorite part of my kitchen is my window.  I don’t necessarily love the business of the street beyond it, but my little collection of pretties makes looking out the window worth it.  I love rotating out the display, and this is what I am currently loving.  I have several postcards from my visits to the U.K.,  a set of hand-carved spoons from recent trips to Uganda, a piece of coral from our trip to Miami Beach, and some other mementos.  I love how the pictures contrast with the the floral china, hand-written verses from my aunt and stained-glass shield from my friend Anna.

I bought the photo clip wire from Target years ago.  I have used it in kitchens, bedroom windows, and on bathroom mirrors.  I love how it instantly cheers up a room without drilling holes.  And, because it has eight clips, I don’t have to pick just one picture to hang!

Here are a few DIY options.  My friend Kit made one by stringing across an old vintage necklace.  I just love these!
